Our Ego vs The True Self

Shortly after this website was published, I listened to a strange message from an Oracle at the end of a Bashar transmission.

(Learn more about Bashar here:  Channeled Wisdom & Basics)

The message was repeated three times with one word difference the third time around, and was stated as follows:

"The dark night of the soul calls forth the light within,

and when the light of truth comes forth, the blind shall see once again.”

"The dark night of the soul calls forth the light within,

and when the light of truth comes forth, the blind shall see once again.”

"The dark night of the soul calls forth the light within,

and once the light of truth comes forth, the blind shall see once again.”

My first thought was, “Ok, this is creepy.”  Then I realized I’ve heard the phrase “Dark Night of the Soul” before, so I searched Google for meaning and understanding.  Turns out the “Dark Night of the Soul” is a book written by the 16th-century Spanish mystic, Saint John of the Cross, which describes his soul's transformative journey toward union with The Infinite Divine Universal Consciousness.  Sounds Great, Yes?  Not so fast.  This can be a grueling transformational journey that most of us want to avoid like the plague.   But those who goes through this are chosen by Divine Forces.  I believe going through this kind of darkness without any understanding of what is happening may have led to many suicides.

So, with that realization, including this page became a vital addition.

Quote from Saint John of the Cross:

“The endurance of darkness is the preparation for great light.”
